Isabelle Margaret Roberts of Davison, age 81, died Saturday October 28, 2017 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Thursday November 2, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Rite of Committal will follow at St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 5 – 8 pm Tuesday and 1 - 4 & 6- 8 pm Wednesday with a parish rosary at 6:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Isabelle will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon Thursday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to St. John Church or Outreach East.

Isabelle was born in Flint Michigan on October 17, 1936 the daughter of the late Walter & Anna Belle (Quigley) Griffin and has resided in the Davison area since 1971. She was joined in marriage to Ed Roberts on September 8, 1956 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Flint and he preceded her in death on January 20, 1988. Isabelle was a Graduate of St. Mary Catholic School and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison. She had been very involved in the church as a member of St. John Choir, Eucharistic Minister, and several of the Church Guilds. She had been employed by General Motors AC Division until her retirement in 1999.

Surviving are children; Cindy and husband Dave Foss, Ed and wife Shelly Roberts, Tony and wife Kori Roberts and Maryann Roberts. Her grandchildren Jason Palmer, Reed Roberts, Adam & Kim Roberts, Stacie & John Joinville, Stephanie Carpenter, Andy Roberts, Eddie Roberts, Edward & Jill Foss, Jeremy Foss, and Brian Foss. She also leaves her great grandchildren Alexis, Addison, and Ellie Mae. Her loving sisters Rose Ethier, Helen and husband Ken Dunn, and a host of other relatives and friends. Isabelle is preceded in death by her sons Jeff Roberts, John Roberts, her sisters Patty Griffin, Winifred Griffin and brother Walter Griffin.
