Iris Ann Wood of Davison age 75 died Wednesday April 6, 2011 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. A funeral service will be held at 1; 00 pm Monday April 11, 2011 at the Hansen Funeral Home, Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Rev. James D. Kleintank officiating, Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Sunday at the funeral home, by Ladies VFW Aux. #4087. Iris was born in Dundalk, Maryland April 9, 1935 the daughter of Carl & Geraldine (Grassi) Farrar and has resided in the Davison area since 1968. Iris was a member of Davison VFW Auxiliary #4087 and Davison Eagles #3589. Iris was employed by the Davison VFW. She is survived by children; Robert Lee Nicely, Troy Turner, Cliff and wife Paula Turner, and Paul and wife Terra Turner. Six Grandchildren,. Sister Gloria and husband Jack Milliman, brothers, Jerry and wife Mary Jane Farrar, chip and wife Jenny Farrar, and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by son David Nicely.
