Irene Lucille Sabo of Richfield Township age 87 passed away Thursday October 29, 2009 at her residence. A funeral service will be Monday November 2, 2009 at 2:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev David Miller officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 11:00am Monday until time of service. Contributions may be made to the Family in Irene's memory. Irene was born on April 27, 1922 in McHugh Minn, the daughter of the late Charles & Agnes (Circh) Harris and resided in the Genesee County most of her life. She married Alexis Sabo in March 4, 1944 and he proceeded in death 1962. Irene was a graduate of Mt. Morris High School Class of 1941. She formerly owner & operator of the Clio Rd. Market and was employed by St Joseph Hospital in the Dietary Department until her retirement. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter: Karen & husband Alan Dodge, son: Dennis M. Sabo, grandchildren Rick & wife Jeanie Dodge, Patti Larkin, Kathy Dodge, Tonya Jones, and Matt Sabo. Great grandchildren Amber Dodge, Rick Dodge II, Nate Coe, Zack Stacey, and Jacqlyn Jones; special brother & sister–in- law Dean & Ruth Harris, sisters: Donna & husband Herald Cole, and Susan Hummel. She is preceded in death by grandson Randall Alan Dodge, and son-in-law Robert Larkin. Special Thank you to great friends Janet & Bill Walker for all their help and love.
