Hollis "Deano" of Davison Michigan and Bonita Springs, Florida age 81 passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at his home in Bonita Springs. Memorial services will be held Friday February 18, 2011 at 7:00 pm with reflection time from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Hansen Funeral Home 421 N. Main St. Davison, Mich. Deano was born on October 20, 1929 in Royal Oak Michigan. He was a World War II Veteran and a retiree of AC Spark Plug, as well as a member of many local organizations including: the Eagles, the Elks, the Moose, the Lions, and the VFW. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by loving wife, Jacqueline, his two children; Roger (Shelly) Houghtaling, Jean (John) Kish, granchildren Jerry, Deanne, David, Jackie, Chris, Elizabeth, Rebecca, John, Seven great grandchildren, and his siblings; Arnold (Connie),Basil (Charlene),Keith (Delores), Janet (Larry)Manning, Kendall Lane. He was preceded in death by parents Gertrude and Harrold Houghtaling, his brother Jack, and his son Steven Houghtaling.
