Helen Sophia Zawlocki of Davison and Millington age 97 died Thursday Sept. 10, 2015 at Prestige Pointe, Grand Blanc. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday September 14, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Private burial in Millington Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 – 7:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home with a parish scripture service at 7:00 pm. Helen will lie is state at the church from 10:00 am Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contribution in her memory to Home & Hospice Advantage. Helen was born in Standish Michigan on October 16, 1917 the daughter of the late: Valentine & Rose (Kaliszewski) Zarodkiewicz, spending her early years in Detroit. She later spent her retirement years between Millington and Davison. She was joined in marriage to Edward O. Zawlocki in February 1936 and he preceded her in death in December of 1986. Helen was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Patricia & Ron Millinkov, and Rose & Dan Holman. She also leaves her eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family. She is preceded in death by son Edward J. Zawlocki.
