Helen Margaret Yonan of Fayetteville Arkansas formerly of Flint Michigan, age 89, died Tuesday May 17, 2022 in Fayetteville Arkansas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday May 28, 2022 at Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East, (Mar Shimun Bar Sabbai, Parish) 3112 Lewis St. Flint, Qasha Ameer Brikha, and Shamasha Rowil David, Celebrants. Burial will follow in the Assyrian Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 11:00 – 3:00 pm Friday May 27, 2022 at the Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison. Helen will lie in state from 10:00 am Saturday until time of services at the church.

Helen was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 12, 1933 the daughter of the late: Onofrio and Rachel (D'Alesandro) Massari , spending most of her life in Flint Michigan. She was joined in marriage to Samuel Dynkha Joseph Yonan and he preceded her in death on October 2, 2001. She was a member of the Assyrian Church of the East.
