Helen Anne Morse, age 85, of Lapeer (formally of Rochester/Metamora) died Sunday June 14, 2015 at Ferguson Convalescent Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A private burial will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday June 28, 2015 at Metamora Cemetery, Metamora Michigan. Helen Anne was born in Goodrich Michigan on August 16, 1929 the daughter of the late Grove and Lottie (Barber) Morse. Helen Anne graduated from Dryden High School in 1948. Helen Anne was employed by Twist Drill / Tool and Die in Rochester until her retirement. She was quick witted, loved playing cards and watching Detroit Tigers baseball. She was a wonderful aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by Sister Genevieve Deyer, and many nieces and nephews: Jacqueline Dale, Suzanne (Kenneth) Drenth, Pamela Henderson, John (Barbara) Morse, Deborah Bennett, Katherine Morse, Phyllis (William)Laidlaw, Richard (Natalie) Morse, Patricia (Terry) VanAllen, Michael (Carrie) Morse, Melanie (David) Li; 18 great nieces and nephews, 12 great great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by siblings: Richard Morse, Charlotte Schriber, Grant Morse, Harold "Jack" Morse, Robert D. Morse,and nephew Robert W. Morse.
