Helen Jayne Generes of Davison, age 80, died Thursday January 10, 2019 at McLaren – Lapeer Regional. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No public services or gathering time are being held. Burial of ashes will be on the family plot in Sunset Hills Cemetery at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Helen's memory to Karmanos Cancer Institute.

Helen was born in Flint Michigan on April 11, 1938 the daughter of the late Ivan & Laverne (Brewer) Dew, and has resided in Davison the last nine years spending most of her life in the Flint area. She enjoyed painting and was an accomplished artist.

Surviving is daughters Susan (Bruce Davis) deGeneres, Mary Gonzalez, and son Sidney deGeneres Jr., She also leaves grandchildren Nicole (Josh) Gardner, Jacob Gonzalez, her great grandchildren Camdyn Gardner, and McKenna Gardner. Also surviving is the father of her children Sidney Generes Sr., sisters Betty Gonzalez, Beverly Krason, brothers Ivan Dew, Jim Dew and a host of extended family.
