Hattie Eleanor Jerome of Mt. Morris age 75 died Thursday December 11, 2025 at her residence. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Sunday December 28, 2025 from 1:00-4:00pm at the Davison Eagles #3589 3270 N. State Rd. Davison. Those desiring to make contributions in Hattie's memory may make them to the family.

Hattie was born in Clare, Michigan on November 17, 1950 the daughter of the late Leo and Frances (Madison) Varney and resided in the Mt. Morris area for many years. Hattie was joined in marriage to Peter Jerome on January 26, 1974 and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2022. She was member of the American Legion Auxiliary 0992 and also 40-8. Hattie worked at Mt. Morris Public Schools as Para Pro for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Tiffany and husband Greg Sayles, Noreen Jerome, and Peter and wife Heather Jerome; grandchildren: Lauren, Jenna, Brady, Alysia, Amarion, Amir, Amoni, Alysia, and Zander; great grandchildren: Jakiys, Eden, and Zeovanni; and host of extended family and friends.
