Harvey Arthur Scott of Flint, formerly of Lapeer County, age 97, died Wednesday February 1, 2023 at his son's residence. A gathering time will be held from 11:00 to 12 noon Sunday February 5, 2023 at Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison. Private burial will be on the family plot in Oregon Township Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions in Harvey's memory to the Davison VFW Post 4087.

Harvey was born in Flint Michigan on April 18, 1925 the son of the late John and Fletta (Edwards)Scott and had resided in both Genesee and Lapeer Counties most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Doris May Mark on February 29, 1948 and she preceded him in death on August 8, 2018. Answering the call of his country Harvey proudly served as a pilot in the US Navy during WW II. Harvey continued his love for aviation after his military career and continued to fly. Harvey always enjoyed a good game of golf. He had been a member of Davison American Legion, and employed by General Motors spending time at Buick and later in Management at GM Corporate Offices until his retirement.

Surviving is son Robert Scott, grandson Cristopher Scott, and granddaughter Jennie Aeder. He also leaves his great grandchildren Sunny Aeder, Jamie Aeder, sister Beth Hendershot, and a host of extended family and friends.
