Harrison Jackson Jr., of Flint age 79 passed away Wednesday November 4, 2009 at his residence. A funeral services will be held Saturday November 7, 2009 at 5:00pm at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Pastor David Miller officiating. Family will receive visitors from 12 noon Saturday until time of service. Those desiring may make contribution to the family. Harrison was born in Dunklin County, Missouri on February 23, 1930 the son of the late Harrison & Maudie (Whitson) Jackson. He was joined in marriage Diane Caron in August 15, 1987. Surviving are wife: Diane; children: Larry & Marsha Jackson, Mona & Chuck Steffy; Donald & Stacey Jackson, David & Kelly Jackson, Bobbie & Stan Wood, and Brian & Kristy Jackson; 15 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; sisters: Myrtle Mae & Cleo Taylor, Patricia & Arthur Thayer, Mary & Dale Pelky, and Linda & Archie Wicks; brothers: Robert & Sue Jackson, Michael & Laura Jackson, and Jerry & Debra Jackson, and many other relatives. Harrison is preceded in death by son: Steven Jackson, sister: Betty Henson; brothers Homer Earl Jackson, James Jackson, and Herbert "Bud" Jackson.
