Harold Albert Withey of Davison age 87, died Friday September 16, 2011 at his residence. A funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Monday September 19, 2011 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison, Rev. Gene Smith officiating. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Harold's memory to the Salvation Army. Harold was born in Blythe California on February 7, 1924 the son of the late; Guy and Edith Withey, and has resided in the Davison area the last fifty-eight years. He was joined in marriage to Mavis Eaton on January 31, 1959. Answering the call of his country Harold served in the US Army, Military Police, during WW, II. Mr. Withey owned and operated Harold's Used Cars until his retirement in 1999. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife Mavis, daughter, Kathleen and husband Steve Brown, grandchildren, Tammy Withey, Stacey Withey, Bernerd Withey, Alexandria Brown, and Samantha Brown. He also leaves several great-grandchildren, brothers, Guy and wife Jane Withey, Bob Withey, David and wife Edith Withey, and Sandy and wife Mary Withey, sisters, Alice Davis, and Marie and husband Larry Zucker. Special friends: Chris Salter, Kittie and husband Mark Free, Terry Tedford, Michael Tucker, Jeremy Tucker, and Joyce Rodgerson.
