Harold Dennis Stanke of Flint, age 74, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 6, 2024. He was surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Denny was born in Ionia, Michigan on November 28, 1949, to Harold and Frances (Walsh) Stanke and has resided in the Flint area most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Debby Buda on May 1, 1976, in Flint, Michigan.

He was employed by General Motors Chevrolet Division until his retirement. After retiring from GM he started his own venture, Integrity Painting by Denny, where he worked alongside his son and cherished the memories they made.

Denny's greatest joy was to lead others to Jesus. He loved spending time with his family and close friends. He was passionate about working with his hands and spent numerous hours woodworking. He drew great pleasure from making things for his family, everything from the simplest shelf to the most elaborate toy for his grandkids. He loved to give and serve others. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and nature walks with the people he loved.

He lives now with his heavenly father. Leaving to cherish his life and memories are wife Debby, children: Jeremy (Danielle) Stanke, Kaylee (Joel) McMahon, grandchildren: Anabelle, Collin, Jonah, Adeline, and his grand pups: Gizmo and Poppi. Denny also leaves his siblings: Rosalie (Bob) Heath, Jim Stanke, Jean (Lou) Winkelhaus, Gary (Loretta) Stanke, and a host of extended family and numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Frances Stanke, brother Phil Stanke, sister-in-law Linda Stanke and sister-in-law Carol Stanke.

Pastor Terry Herriman will be officiating a Celebration of Life on July 28, 2024, at 3:00pm. The service will be held at Abundant Grace Church, 3372 Baldwin Road Grand Blanc, MI 48439, where Denny attended.
