Harold Harris James of Davison, age 88, died Thursday May 29, 2014 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Monday June 2, 2014 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, burial will follow at Davison Cemetery, with Military Honors by Davison American Legion Post 267. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday. Harold was born in Graves County Kentucky on September 11, 1925 the son of the late: Ollie M. & Mary Annie (Harris) James and has resided in the Davison area the last eleven years. He was joined in marriage to Viola M. Fraser on December 6, 1952 in Hazel Park Michigan. Answering the call of his country Harold served in the US Army during WW II. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Viola, sons: Robert H and wife Sue James, David E. and wife Jeanette James, grandson Eric D and wife Suzy James, granddaughter Rachel S. James and great grandson, Eric James Jr. He also leaves his sister Annita R. O'Mealey, brother David L. James and a host of other relatives.
