Guy Norman Sutherland of Grand Blanc age 61, died suddenly on Wednesday June 21, 2023. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Private burial at Sunset Hills Cemetery will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Guy's memory to the charity of your choice.

Guy was born in Flint Michigan on February 4, 1962 the son of the late Norman and Olive (Sharp) Sutherland and had resided in the Grand Blanc area the last thirty years. He was joined in marriage to Cynthia "Cindy" Ann Angellar on June 22, 1985 and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2017. Guy loved the outdoors and was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He enjoyed gardening, and his latest hobby of rock hunting.  Guy always enjoyed a good game of golf, but his most important time was shared with his wife Cindy and their sons from watching and playing sports with their sons or just spending time together, his family was his everything.  He had been employed by the State of Michigan until his retirement in 2017.

Surviving are sons: Travis Sutherland and Nicolas "Nic" Sutherland. Brother Tony (Heather) Sutherland, sister-in-laws: Dawn McCarthy, and Nancy (Jeff) McLaughlin.  His loving companion who has been his support and his love during the last years Debbie Streeter, he also leaves his closest friend and cousin Leo, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
