Gladys Charlean Ferguson of Burton, age 82, died Friday September 8, 2017 at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday September 12, 2017 at the funeral home.  Gladys was born in Tuckerman Arkansas on December 19, 1934 the daughter of the late; Charles & Jennie (Smith) Skyrme and had resided in the Burton area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Orval Ferguson in 1952 and in preceded her in death in 2010. She leaves her son Richard Ferguson and daughter Barbara (Steve) McCabe. Also her loving grandchildren: Nicholas (Tiffany) McCabe, Crystal (Chris) Johnston and great granddaughter Hailee Johnston. She also leaves her God-daughter Angelia (Scott) Gaghan, nieces, nephews, and extended family, Gladys is preceded in death by brother John Skyrme, and sister Wilma Beard.
