George Jimenez of Davison age 75 died Friday February 11, 2011, at his residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday February 14, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 1227 E. Bristol Rd. Burton. Fr. Steve Anderson officiating. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. George will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contribution's in George's memory to the Humane Society. Mr. Jimenez was born in Flint Michigan September 1, 1935 the son of the late; Ramon & Guadalupe (Verdusco) Jimenez and has resided in the Davison area the last thirty-seven years. He was joined in marriage to Rebecca "Becky" Holdson July 16, 1966 at ST. Matthew Catholic Church, Flint. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and has served his country in the National Guard. George was employed by General Motors AC Division for over thirty-six years. He leaves to cherish his memory; loving wife Becky, brothers; Raymond and friend Pat, Fred "Al" and wife Noemi, sister; Celia and husband Dave Atherton, brother-in-law; Del Holdson and friend Sandia, sister-in-law; Pam and husband Tony Sevier. Many muched love nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He is preceded in death by brother; Mike, niece; Karen Jimenez, sister-in-law; Geraldine Jimenez, and his cherished cat Misty.
