George Androff of Davison formerly of Lapeer, age 85, died Wednesday July 25, 2018 at McLaren-Lapeer Regional Hospital. A Gathering Time and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday July 29, 2018 at Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison. Family will receive visitors starting at 11:00 am Sunday with service beginning at 3:00 pm. Fr. Carl A. Simon officiating. Those desiring may make contributions in George's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

George was born in Detroit Michigan on May 16, 1933 spending many years in the Lapeer area and most recently moving to Davison. He was joined in marriage to Gloria Simpson on April 6, 1973. George was an avid horseman, having owned and operated AN-DR-OFF Farms in Lapeer where he raised and trained Thoroughbred Horses. He had been employed by Ford Motor Company for over thirty years retiring December 31, 1990.

Surviving is wife Gloria, son; Ray & Cathy Alvey, and daughter Laura & Quincy Harmon. He also leaves his six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother Johnny Androff, sister Mary Mazzetti, and a host of extended family and friends.
