Gene A. "Gene'O" Swanson,age 76 of Grand Blanc, Went to Heaven on October 15, 2011 in Plant City, Florida. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday October 22, 2011 at the Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison, Pastor Gary Beck officiating. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Gene's memory to the family for distribution to his favorite charities and organizations. Gene was born in Cadillac Michigan on September 5, 1935 the son of the late; Aner and Mary (Belleville) Swanson. He was married to Jo Ann Pilkenton in 1958 and she preceded him in death in 1978. He then was united in marriage to Mickey (Betty) Glasco on February 20, 1994.Gene was an avid skeet shooter, belonging to the Grand Blanc Huntsman Club, a golfer and enjoyed several golf leagues, and a Third Degree Mason and member of Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge # 458 F. &A.M. He was a Wonderful, Loving, Caring, Devoted, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother and Friend. He is survived by wife, Mickey, children, Wayne (Susan) Murchinson, Debbie Rainwater, Jeff (Tami) Swanson, Mitch (Suzy) Swanson, Kelly (Rob) Schultz, and Kristy (Jay) Fritzler. Grandchildren: Jodi, Lori, Jason, Leslie, Jeremia, Kristen, Joshua, Shane, Ashley, Jordan, Audrey, Isabella, and Jaiden.
