Gary L. Neifert of Grand Blanc age 62 died Tuesday January 26, 2010 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 30, 2010 at the Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah Larose-Nettell officiating. Private burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children Fund or Disable American Veterans. Gary was born in Flint Michigan May 6, 1947 the son of the late: Louis & Helen (Eastridge) Neifert and had resided in the Grand Blanc area. Gary was a graduate of Davison High School and held an Associate Degree from Baker College. Answering the call of his county Gary served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He leaves to cherish his memory children: Jeff and Shelly Neifert and grandchild Kadrian, Blair Neifert, Breanne Neifert and grandchildren Leonard III & Douglas. Siblings: Louis & Sharon Neifert, Denise & Gary Kelsoe, Debra & Bill Eldridge, Ron & Mary Neifert, Greg & Yucha Riegle, Kim & Dean Wickstrom, Julie & Robert Quick and a host of other relatives.
