Gary Elwyn Liddell of Davison, age 77, died Wednesday March 15, 2023 at Chesaning Comfort Care. Honoring is wishes cremation has taken place no public services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in Gary's memory to the Epilepsy Foundation or the American Cancer Society.

Gary was born in Flint Michigan on June 22, 1945 the son of the late Elwyn and Mary (Hoffman) Liddell and had resided in Davison since 2016, spending most of his life in the Flint area. Gary spent a lot time at Ludington State Park and was an avid camper. He was an artist in his own right and enjoyed painting. Gary always enjoyed reading and especially Stephen King novels. He graduated from University of Michigan with a degree in Engineering and had been employed by General Motors Truck and Bus Division until his retirement after forty years of service.

Surviving are his children: Gary and wife Joann Liddell, Laura and husband Maurice Poffenbarger, Jennifer and husband Bob Adams, and Tiffany Perkins. He also leaves his step-children; Michael and wife Atsuko Charney, Stephen and wife Jennifer Charney, Wendy Arnold, and many loving grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Also Gary leaves sister Linda Sommerville, brother Mike Stone, and a host of extended family and friends. Gary is preceded in death by wife Shirley, granddaughter Samantha, step-dad Leo Stone, sister Barbara Bedford, mother Mary Stone, and brother Robert Liddell.
