Gary Foster of Davison, MI age 70, died Sunday August 15, 2021 at Niche Aging Center in Bay City, Michigan.  Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held on Friday August 27 ^th from 12-2pm at Hansen Funeral home in Davison, MI with a short service at 2pm by Father Andrew Czajkowski.

Gary was born in Flint, Michigan on April 7, 1951 to Richard and Arletta (Prevost) Foster.   He married his wife, Elizabeth (Graves) Foster on December 27 ^th , 1974 and they spent 46+ happy years together.  He was a devoted father to his two children, Jenn and Chris.  Gary and Liz raised their family in Davison and he worked for 30+ years in the auto industry in Flint, Pontiac and Warren.  He and Elizabeth both retired in 2009 and enjoyed travelling to see friends and family.  His favorite activities involved being outside – whether it be boating, swimming, biking or just relaxing in his backyard.  He loved social gatherings and always had a good story to tell.

He is survived by wife Elizabeth, daughter Jennifer (Ben) Thomas, and son Christopher (Tobi) Foster. He leaves behind his 4 loving grandchildren who always knew grandpa/papa would make them laugh: Emory and Marin Thomas,  Cameron and Reagan Foster.    Also surviving are siblings David (Annette) Foster, Jeff Foster, Carol (John) Cieslak and Kitty Foster . Gary is preceded in death by his mother and father, Arletta and Richard Foster, brothers Leonard and Larry Foster.
