Gale Fricke of Burton, age 80 was greeted and reunited with his beloved wife Betty and daughter Linda who preceded him on his journey home, Monday, April 18, 2011 at Brian's House Hospice.


A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 pm Wednesday April 27, 2011 at Hansen Funeral Home, Nancy Rivet, Funeral Celebrant officiating.Family will recieve visitors from 3:00 pm Wednesday until time of services.

Those desiring may make contributions in Gale's memory to Brian's House Hospice or the hospice of their choice.

Gale was born in Flint Michigan May 17, 1930 the son of the late Perry and Victoria (Case) Fricke and grew up in the North Branch –Millington area. He was united in marriage to Betty Lindsay February 14, 1952 in Yuma, Arizona and they resided in Burton for most of their married life.

Gale was a veteran of the US Navy, serving in the Pacific aboard the USS Prairie during the Korean Conflict.

Gale leaves to cherish his memory children Ron Fricke, Greg Fricke and Kathy (Paul) Kort; son-in-law John Frye; grandchildren Heather (Scott), Jason (Jamie), Jeremy (Erin), Dan (Kate) and James; great-grandchildren Sienna, Jenna, Maya, Joey, Brian and Mike; many nieces and nephews and close family friend Jennifer Fricke.

Gale was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years Betty, his cherished daughter Linda Frye, his parents and thirteen brothers and sisters.
