Frederick Charles Kendrick of Davison age 74, died Sunday May 20, 2018 at McLaren –Lapeer Regional.  Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be held 1-3 pm Sunday May 27, 2018 at Old Orchard Club House 10500 Lapeer Rd. Davison. Fred was born in Detroit Michigan on September 23, 1943 the son of the late; Frederick T. and Elizabeth E. (Chevalier) Kendrick and has resided in the Davison area the last twelve years, spending most of his life in Lapeer. He was joined in marriage to Judith Ann Hart on August 23, 1969. Answering the call of his country Fred served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Michigan Woodcarver's Association and President of the Frankenmuth Carving Guild. He had been employed by General Motors Buick Motor Division until his retirement in 1984. He leaves his wife of forty-nine years Judith Ann, his children: Gene & Cyndi Green, Grace Clark, Christine Kendrick, Shannon & Jack Hendershott, and Frederick James Kendrick. He also leaves his grandchildren: Luke, Tim, Jonathan, Frederick, and great granddaughters Riley, and Isabella.
