Frank M. Kolinski of Mt. Morris formerly of Richfield Township age 78 died Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday August 3, 2014 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel Downtown Davison. Pastor David Pennell officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8pm Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Frank's memory to the Kidney Foundation or St. Jude Children Hospital. Frank was born in Gladwin, Michigan on November 16, 1935 the son of the late Frank M. and Mary (Kuchta) Kolinski and has resided in Richfield Township most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Dolores McDaniel on June 22, 1963. Frank was member of the Democratic Party, and Genesee County Fair Board. Mr. Kolinski served two terms as Richfield Township Supervisor and also had served as a Richfield Township Trustee. Frank was employed by General Motors Buick Division for 30 years, retiring May 1987. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dolores "Dee"; daughter: Shelly and husband David Pennell; grandson: Dustin Pennell; brothers: John and wife Colleen Kolinski, and Philip and wife Linnie Kolinski; sister: Laura and husband Jerry Huebner and host of other relatives.
