Evonne Lavern Guillen of Flint, age 75, died Monday February 15, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11:30 am Wednesday February 17, 2016 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Bill Christensen officiating. Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Wednesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Evonne's memory to the church memorial fund. Evonne was born in Flint Michigan on November 11, 1940 the daughter of the late: Hildreth & Mildred (Harris) Stevens, and has resided in the Flint area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Moses Guillen in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1992. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church, and had been employed by Davison Community Schools as a Busdriver for over thirty-two years. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter, Margaret (Jeffrey) Crane, sons; Moses Kendall Guillen, and Daniel J. Guillen. She also leaves her six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Her loving sisters: Betty (Larry) Fromwiller, Bonnie (Billy) Summers, Margie (Thomas) Firzzel, and brothers; Richard (Maxine) Stevens, Russell (Debbie) Stevens, Mike Stevens, and a host of other relatives.
