Evelyn M. Palka of Richfield Township, age 95, died Thursday May 7, 2015 at Genesys Convalescent Center. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday May 11, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church 706 W. Flint St. Davison. Pastor Todd Frusti officiating. Private burial will follow at Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitor's form 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Evelyn will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the Church Memorial Fund. Evelyn was born in Lapeer County Michigan on December 20, 1919 the daughter of the late Ray J. & Mary E. (Hollenbeck) Willing, and has resided in the Davison area since 1966. She was a graduate of Beecher High School Class of 1938 and Attended Baker Business College. Evelyn was employed by King Cigar Company for over thirty-seven years retiring in 1986. Surviving is husband William "Bill" Palka, several cousins and extended family members.
