Evelyn Marie Caraway of the Burton/Davison area, age 79 died Wednesday August 2, 2017 at the residence. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday August 7, 2017 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah Larose-Nettell officiating, burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Evelyn's memory to Kindred Hospice. Evelyn was born in Graysville, Tenn. On December 30, 1937 the daughter of the late; Virgil & Mattie (Levi) Boyd and had spent most of her life in the Burton-Davison area. She was joined in marriage to Marion R. Caraway on May 19, 1953 in Roseville Georgia and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2009. Surviving are sons: Marion Richard "Rick" and wife Nickie Caraway, Raymond Boyd and wife Carla Caraway, Robert Earl and wife LaVonne Caraway, and her daughter Katherine "Kathy" Visser. She also leaves her ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Evelyn also leaves her brothers; Urshel Boyd and Otis (Ann) Boyd.  The family would like to express there gratitude to Bruce Ford and the staff of Kindred Hospice for their support and compassion during this time.
