Young, Eva Ruby of Davison age 95 died Friday October 16, 2009 at Brian's House Hospice. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday October 19, 2009 at the Unitarian Universalist church 2474 Ballenger Hwy. Flint. Eva was born in Mackinaw County, Michigan June 30, 1914 the daughter of the late; Martin & Mary (Maki0 Ruby and had resided in Davison since 1978 and the flint area since 1942. She was a graduate of the Newbery High School class of 1932. She was a member of the Unitarian Church, Davison Country Club, A life member of Goodwill Industries Auxiliary. She was a active member of the American Cancer society and had tutored at Mott High School Literacy Program. Eva had been employed by General Motors AC Delco Division retiring in 1974. She is survived by a host of relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Contributions are being made in Eva's memory to Genesee County Humane Society or the Unitarian Church memory fund.
