Eugenia "Genie" Ann Scott of Flint, age 61, died Friday April 18, 2025 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held On Saturday May 3, 2025 from 2 -5 pm at Cardinal Station Community Room 10183 E. Lapeer Rd. Davison.. Private burial will be on the family plot in Crestwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions in Genie's memory may do so to the Genesee County Humane Society.

Genie was born in Flint, Michigan on April 15, 1964. The daughter of the late: Doyne and Virgie (Lacewell) Scott and has resided in the Flint area most of her life.  She was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1983.Genie enjoyed spending time with family, crafting and shopping; some would say she was the Queen of Clearance Sales. Genie was employed at the Meijer Store in Birch Run, MI in the deli department for fourteen years.

She had a passion for animals and supported programs for their health and wellbeing. Her greatest loves were her nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and nephews.

Genie is survived by her siblings: Sheron (Rocky) Piccobotta, Darlene Beebe, Brenda Scott, and Laura (Alan) Culp. She also leaves behind her loving nieces and nephew: David Beebe, Mandi (Scott) Hatchew, Martina Gonzales, Erika Guldi, Jennifer Defoy, Katie Grathoff, and Stacie (Cyle) Coleman. Also surviving are numerous great nieces and nephews, along with one great great niece and a host of friends.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Stephen Beebe.
