Esther Marie Skinner-Schaffer of Davison and Millington, age 92, Went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at Ferguson Convalescent Center, Lapeer. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Friday April 26, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Private inurnment at St. John Cemetery. Esther will lie in state at the church from 11:00 am Friday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to St. John Catholic Church or St. Francis Catholic Church. Esther was born in Vanderbuilt, Michigan January 2, 1921 the daughter of the late; Henry and Mary (Horneber) Erbisch. She was an avid BINGO player and was acomplished oil painter. She leaves to cherish her memory children; Diane & Gerald Keinath, Frances (Frank) & Deborah Skinner, A. Michael & Delores Skinner, Jeffrey R. Skinner, Charles & Joyce Skinner, Gregory & Lee Skinner, and Johnathan (John)Skinner. Five grandchildren, Seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
