Erma Esther Friese of Davison, age 93, passed away peacefully Friday,  March 5, 2021 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with private burial on their family plot in Friendship, Wisconsin. Those desiring may make contributions in Erma's memory to the charity of their choice.

Erma the daughter of the late Alfred & Julia (Meyers) Fierke was born in Friendship Wisconsin on September 30, 1927. She resided in Davison the last fifteen years, spending most of her life in the Flint area. Erma was an avid reader, and loved to sew. She was known for her "green thumb" and could make anything grow. Erma truly enjoyed baking, playing cards and board games with her family and closest friends. Her true love was spending time with family and caring for her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She leaves behind her daughters: Barbara (Chris) Zielinski, Mary Singer, Natalie Burch, Gina Weld, and Bobbi (Ron) Green, to cherish her memory. She also leaves her loving thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren, with her two newest additions on the way. She also leaves her sister Ellen Richards and an abundance of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by granddaughter Kerri Bills, son-in-law Daniel Weld, and siblings; Adelbert, Gustav, Zeke, Martin, Albert, Benjamin, Lucille Potter, and Dolores Zant.
