Eric Trogden, age 51, passed away on March 28, 2026.

Born in Pontiac, Michigan, to Donald Trogden and Kathleen (Freeman) Trogden, Eric spent his early years in Alpena before moving to Troy, where he grew up. He later made his home in Hazel Park and most recently settled in Davison, Michigan.

Eric was a dedicated operator and superintendent who took pride in his work. Outside of his career, he found his greatest joy in the outdoors—whether hunting, fishing, or simply spending time tinkering and working with his hands.

He will be remembered for his warm spirit and the way he connected with everyone he met. Eric was community-driven, always willing to lend a hand or lead a project that brought people together. A proud Christian and active member of the Lions Club, he lived his life with purpose, generosity, and faith.

Above all, Eric was a devoted family man. He was a loving husband to his wife, Rebecca Trogden, and a proud, caring father to his sons, Cory Trogden and Austin Ray-Trogden. He is also survived by his brother, Ryan Trogden.

Eric’s humor, kindness, and unwavering love for his family and community will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, laughter, and compassion that will live on in all who knew him.
