Enriqueta M. Lafuente of Burton, age 88, died Monday December 25, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Enriqueta was born in Eagle Pass Texas on January 24, 1929 the daughter of the late: Catarino & Natalia Castillo and has resided in the area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Francisco Lafuente on March 30, 1953. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  She leave her husband of 64 years Francisco, her sons: Roberto Lafuente, and Emundo & Stephanie Lafuenta.
