Elmira Gertrude "Gertie" Booth formerly of Davison age 91 died Monday December 20, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Okemos Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday December 23, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton Street Davison. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating, with private burial at St. John Cemetery. Mrs. Booth will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am Thursday until time of services. Gertrude was born in Detroit Michigan June 21, 1919 the daughter of the late Arthur & Josephine (Bray) Senecal, and had resided in the Davison area 1956. She was joined in marriage to Fred Albert Booth September 28, 1937 and he preceded her in death august 7, 2007. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison. Gertie leaves to cherish her memory children' William & Kerry Booth, Judith DesOrmeau, Mary Katherine Waterous, John & Susan Booth, and Rita & Ramiro Daza. Eighteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren, and on great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by daughters, Dianne Elizabeth, and Yvonne "Vonnie" Forbush, grandsons, Bryan booth and Nicholas Eckler, and Son in law; David Waterous.
