Ellory James Kline of Burton, age 79, died Thursday July 28, 2016 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Monday August 1, 2016 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah Larose-Nettell will officiate and private burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm Monday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Ellory's memory to his family. Ellory was born in Flint Michigan on October 4, 1936 spending numerous years in Luzerne, Michigan before returning to Burton. He was joined in marriage to Hannelore Kischel on January 18, 1958. Answering the call of his country Ellory served in the US Army. Ellory was a life member of Roscommon VFW 4159 and Luzerne American Legion Post 162. He was employed by the Onyx-Fritz Oil Refinery until his retirement. Surviving is wife Hannelore, his children; James & Susan Kline, John & Kerry Kline, Joey & Maureen Kline, and Judy & Ted Dobson. He also leaves his seventeen grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, brothers; Leland & Janet Kline, Michael Kline, and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by granddaughter Rosie Kline, his sisters; Barbara Bowman, Fern Indish, and brothers; Jack Sellack, Edward Kline, and Kenny Kline.
