Ellen Louise Wild, of Lapeer, formerly of Davison age 94 died Friday August 12, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday August 16, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church 433 Calhoun St. Lapeer, Pastor Todd Smith officiating with private burial in Stiles Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Hansen Funeral Home 421 N. Main St. Davison. Ellen will lie in state at the church from 10;00 am Tuesday until time of services. Those desiring may make contribution to Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Ellen was born in Prescott Michigan January 20, 1917 the daughter of the late; John Rowland & Clara Elizabeth (Oliver) Black, and had resided in the Flint, Davison and Lapeer area her entire life. She was joined in marriage to C H Fowler on December 21, 1941 in Linden, and was married to Milton Wild on August 25, 1956 in Flint. Ellen was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church of Flint, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lapeer. She was a past member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, American Medical Records, Michigan Medical Records, and East Central Michigan Medical Records Associations. Ellen had been employed as a Medical Records Technician for Hurley Medical Center, McLaren Hospital, and Lapeer General Hospital. She is survived by daughter; Janice (Harold) Running, son, James (Sandra) Wild, grandchildren, Melissa (Rick) Osborn, Amanda Grace (Ricky) Rice, and Jami Yvonne Wild; Great grandchildren; Rick, Elizabeth, Emma, and a host of other relatives. She is preceded in death by son; John C. Fowler, brothers, James, Rowland, Sutherland, William, and sisters, Elizabeth Briggs, Mae Allen, and Rachel Irwin.
