Ellen Ethel Whitman of Davison Township age 68, died Thursday May 7, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring her request cremation has taken place. Those desiring may make contributions in Ellen's memory to the Genesee County Humane Society.Ellen was born in Flint Michigan on February 8, 1947 the daughter of the late Stanley & Doris (Meoak) Gibson and has resided in the Davison area since 1973. She was joined in marriage to Larry Whitman on July 26, 1969. Ellen taught in the Lapeer Community School System until her retirement in 2012.
