Elizabeth "Liz" Munson of Davison age 94 died Tuesday November 25, 2025 at The Pines of Burton. A funeral service will be held on Friday December 5, 2025 at 4:30pm at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating with private burial at Crestwood Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2:00PM until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Those desiring to make contributions in Liz's memory may make them to Alzheimer's or American Cancer Society.

Elizabeth was born in Flint, Michigan on January 4, 1931 the daughter of the late Herbert and Marion (Lawrason) Greenwald, and has resided in the Davison area since 1955. She was joined in marriage to Douglas Munson on June 25, 1949 and he preceded her in death November 1998. Liz was member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison and Davison Eagles Auxiliary 3589. She embraced life with boundless curiosity, dividing her time happily between the quiet focus of a good book and the joy of shared adventure. Her dedication to reading was legendary, often surpassing 100 books a year. Liz was an active member of the Burton Senior Center, frequently joining their trips, and found peace and exhilaration in boating. Liz enjoyed going to Ludington, a place where the fresh air, water, and perhaps a good book.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Christine Lason, Douglas "Ted" Munson, Gregory (Heather) Munson, and Janice Bird; grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kerry) Clark, Brandon Munson, Sean Munson, Matthew Lason, and April (Dave) Standen; great grandchildren: Doug, Olivia, Bryce, Landen, Madison, Chelsea, Nichol, and Emily; 7 great great grandchildren, and host extended family and friends.  She is preceded in death by grandson: Steven Lason; granddaughter: Amanda "Amy" Cross; sister: Sueann Smith; daughter in law: Christine Munson; son in law: Tom Lason and Bill Bird; special friend: Glen ( Van) Vandewater.
