GAGNON, Elizabeth Josephine "Betty' of Davison age 74 died Monday June 1, 2009 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday June 6, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski officiating. Burial in St. John Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. A parish scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Betty will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. Friday until time of services. Those desiring may make contribution to St. John Building Fund. Elizabeth was born in Rapid City South Dakota June 13, 1934 the daughter of the late Everett & Verda (Jensen) Lane and has resided in the Davison area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Gerald Gagnon December 21, 1956 at St. John Church and he preceded her in death October 4, 1991. She as a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison, a member of St. John Choir and Altar Society. Surviving are children; Shirley Cassleman, Greg (Sheila) Gagnon, Sharyl (John) Erickson, Sue (Tom) Lesnock, Chris (Duane) Conrad, Tony Gagnon, Andy (Kelly) Gagnon, and Sara Widman. Fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Brother George Lane and soul-mate Fran, sister; Pamela (Neal) Kiefer, and many other relatives and close friends. She is preceded in death by grandson Scott Erickson, brother James Lane, and sister Kathleen Kessler.
