Eleanor Sue Burk of Mt. Morris age 57 lost her battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord Wednesday November 18, 2009 at Avalon Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday November 22, 2009 at the Lennon United Methodist Church 1014 Oak St. Lennon. Pastor Kathy Phillips officiating. Family will receive visitors from 4-7 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contribution in Eleanor's memory to Avalon Hospice. Eleanor was born in flint Michigan July 31, 1952 the daughter of Marvin O, and Doris L. (Preston) Reeves and has resided in the Mt. Morris area since 1989. She was joined in marriage to Robert L. Burk April 20, 1973 in Martinsburg West Virginia. She was a member of Lennon United Methodist Church and had been employed by Landall Packaging until 2005. Surviving is husband; Robert. Daughter; Michelle Burk (Tim), sons; Duane Burk, and Bobby (Judy) Burk. Mother; Doris Reeves, and sister; Wanda Decaire. Grandchildren Kent Burk, Marvin Burk, Colin Burk, Ashley Burk, Robby Burk, Julia Burk, Krissy Dickinson, Justin pulley, Anthony Pulley, and Amanda Pulley. Great granddaughter; Lillian Pulley, and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones. She is preceded in death by father Marvin Reeves.
