Elaine Ida Mildred Latting of Davison, age 92, died Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Ascension-Genesys Regional. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Elaine was born in Flint Michigan on June 9, 1928 the daughter of the late Herman and Martha (Farver) Schafer and has resided in the Davison area for over thirty years. She was joined in marriage to Richard Latting on June 25, 1946 and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2003. She was a member of Davison United Methodist Church.  Elaine and her husband Richard owned and operated Dick's Genesee Drugs for many years. She later was a Realtor for Blanche Bekkering Real Estate.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Gayle Klatt, Judy Latting, and son Richard Latting Jr. She also leaves her six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Also surviving are sisters; Janet Robinson, Paula Smith, and Coraine Albers. She is preceded in death by daughter Beth Elaine Francisco, son Mark Thomas Latting, and granddaughter Courtney Latting. She is also preceded in death by her siblings; David Schafer, Bob Schafer, Gene Schafer, Don Schafer, and Mary Symons. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
