Edwin Giovanni Tomas of Davison, age 43, died Thursday February 1, 2024 at Hurley Medical Center. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Gathering Time of family and friends will be held from 12- 4 pm Saturday February 10, 2024 at Hansen Funeral Home Downtown Davison. Those desiring may make contributions in Edwin's memory to the family for his children.

Edwin was born in Guatemala on May 23, 1980 the son of the late Demeceo and Maria (Romero) Tomas and has resided in the Davison area the last seven years. He was joined in marriage to Shannon Ooten on January 10, 2002. Edwin enjoyed music and loved to dance. He loved to watch Soccer and had played the sport in his younger days. He had a passion for being a handy man and believed he could fix anything. Edwin was employed by Rodriguez Landscaping.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shannon, and his loving children: Sidney, Madison, and Anthony. Also surviving are siblings: Sonia Tomas, Luis Tomas, Eddy Tomas, William "Willey" Tomas, and a host of extended family and friends. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
