Edward J. Landon of Burton age 67, died Friday May 4, 2018 at University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life with food and fellowship will be held from 1-4 pm on Sunday May 20, 2018 at Copper Ridge Golf Club 8475 E. Atherton Rd. Davison, with a Service of Remembrance at 2:00 pm with Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski officiating. Family would encourage you to bring your memories and stories to share. Those desiring may make contributions in Ed's memory to the family for medical expenses.

Edward was born on March 16, 1951 in Detroit ,Michigan. The son of the late Percy and Margaret (Miliota) Landon, and has resided in the Burton area  most of his life. He was joined in marriage to Susan Herman on March 20, 1991, and had been employed by Verizon for over thirty three years until his retirement. Ed enjoyed watching TV and movies, going to the casino and gardening. He also spent quality time with family and close friends up north at the family cottage.

He is survived by his wife Susan, sons Matthew, Jonathon (Michelle), and Austin; grandchildren: Harper, Riley, and Bentley; sister in law: Teresa Herman; nephews: Jeff Rider, Steven Herman, and Nicholas Herman. Edward was preceded in death by brothers: Vincent and John; sister Evelyn; mother and father in law: Charlene and Jerry Herman; brother in law John Rider; nephew: Bryan Rider.
