Douglas Roy Gell of Davison age 63 died Tuesday September 22, 2009 at Genesys Hospice Care Center of Goodrich. A "Blue Jean" memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m.Friday September 25, 2009 at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desirng may make contribution to Genesys Hospice or Davison VFW Post 4087. Douglas was born in Flint Michigan Decmeber 23, 1945 and has resided in Davison the last thirty-five years. He was joined in marriage to Donna Elizabeth Friebel May 13, 1972. Answering the call of his country Douglas served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Davison VFW Post 4087 and was employed by General Motors. He leaves to cherish his memory wife; Donna, son Bryan George Gell, granddaughter; Nataleigh Ysabella Gell, and many other family and friends.
