Dorothea Mary Lambert, formerly of Davison, age 93, died Monday November 25, 2013 at the Toni and Trish House of Auburn. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday January 4, 2014 at the Davison United Methodist Church 207 E. Third St. Davison. In honor of Dorothea's LOVE for ice-cream, there will be an ice-cream social immediately following the Memorial Service. Dorothea was born in Davison Michigan April 21, 1920 the daughter of the late: Oliver & Gladys (Bradshaw) Hammond. She was joined in marriage to Harold Lambert February 8, 1941 and he preceded her in death on September 21, 1986. Dorothea enjoyed bowling, hunting and spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and took great pride in the knowledge of her ancestral information. She worked as a LPN at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint and Wheelock Hospital in Goodrich. She was also a member of American Legion Post. 267. Dorothea is survived by her daughter Nancy (Joe) Rakus, Grandchildren; Connie (Rich) Trautman, Christopher (Andrea) Passmore, Wendy (Dave) Alexander, Erik Rakus, Elizabeth Rakus, and Anthony Rakus; Great grandchildren Jody, Katie, Brooke, Bernard, Jeanette, Chris, Samantha, Mandy and Andrew, Seven great great grandchildren.
