Doris Elaine Gauthier of Davison, age 90, died Tuesday April 27, 2021 at Charter Senior Living of Davison. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 pm Tuesday May 4, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison, Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski, Celebrant. Private inurnment will be at St. John Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am Tuesday until time of services at the church. Those desiring may make contributions in Doris's memory to the Church Memorial Fund.

Doris was born in Alpena Michigan on April 30, 1930 the daughter of the late Albert & Frances (Malka) Couture and has resided in the Davison area since 1990. She was joined in marriage to Eugene Gauthier on October 23, 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 9, 2000. Doris was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Davison, and had been an active member of the Choir for many years.

Surviving are children; Douglas & Mel Gauthier, Keith & Chris Gauthier, Fredric & Louise Gauthier, Peggy & Dave Wolfenden, Mary Magidsohn, Barb Walstrom, and Amy Miles. She also leaves her loving nineteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
