Doris E. Bockelman of Davison, age 88, died Friday August 19, 2016 at Lapeer County Medical Care Center. No visitation or public services are being held. Private burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Doris's memory to St. Mark Lutheran Church. Doris was born in Detroit Michigan on April 2, 1928 the daughter of the late Roscoe & Sarah (Coffman) Willis and had resided in the area for most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Kenneth Bockelman on April 3, 1948 in Detroit and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2013. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and had been employed by Huntington Bank until her retirement in 1990. Surviving is daughters Deborah Bockelman, and Marcia (Paul) Loos. She also leaves three grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren,ten great great grandchildren, and her brother Roger (Pat) Willis. Doris was preceded in death by her son Mark Bockelman.
