Donald Richard Tracy of Goodrich & Davison age 85 died Tuesday June 5, 2012 at Briarwood Convalescent Center. A funeral service will be held at 11;00 am Friday June 8, 2012 at the Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Mark Wentlz officiating. Family will receive visitors from 3-8 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Donald's memory to the charity of your choice. Donald was born in Atlas Township on January 26, 1927 the son of the late: Glen and Nettie (Hipkins) Tracy and has resided in the Goodrich-Davison area his entire life. Answering the call his of his country Donald served in the US Army. He was a life member of the Clio VFW. Don was employed by General Motors Inland Fisher Guide division from thirty-two years retiring in 1992. He leaves to cherish his memory soulmate Joyce Shields, sons Craig Tracy, and Brad & wife Stacie Tracy. Eight grandchildren and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by eight siblings.
