Donald Howell Mayhew Jr., of Genesee Township, age 62, died Wednesday September 15, 2021 at his residence. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00 pm Monday September 20, 2021 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. The family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm Monday until time of services at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Don's memory to the family.

Don was born in Flint Michigan on August 5, 1959 the son of the late Donald & Mary (Carpenter) Mayhew and has resided in the Davison area most of his life. Don was an avid hockey fan and had enjoyed coaching his sons for numerous years as they were actively playing hockey. He had been a truck driver for many years.

He is survived by his sons: Kody and wife Andrea Mayhew, Drew and wife Amber Mayhew, and granddaughter Ashlyn Mayhew. He also leaves his sister Karen and husband Bobby Bost, the mother of his sons; Krista Mayhew and a host of extended family and friends.
